When he fell into a water well, there was no one to take care of him so we have taken him in. He is very friendly and interacts very well with the other children. We are raising money to give him an education.

It has recently been determined that she has an illness and we have taken her out of her Aunt's custody to care for her; we are raising money to determine the cause of the illness and to send her to school.

SIERRA LEONE, WEST AFRICA STORY: Adama was a brilliant girl when growing up, but experienced misfortune when she encountered Whooping cough and Typhoid at the ages of 7-9. Adama is now sponsored by the church to attend primary school. She needs school materials (bag, pen, pencil, shoes) to further her education.

She lost her parents when she was 4 years old and was lucky enough to have her neighbor care for her, but is still facing difficulties such as the family barrier in her daily live. She attended school for one academic year and came to Kids Compassion Charity to continue her education.

STORY: Mohamed has no parents and stays with his grandmother who is a local food seller. He is attending the Apostolic Church Primary School. After school he learns wants to learn tailoring. He need school materials (books, bag, pen, pencil and shoes).

NEEDS: $100 AGE: 6 YEARS OLD SEX: FEMALE ADDRESS: 54 FREETOWN ROAD, GODERICH, VILLAGE, FREETOWN. SIERRA LEONE, WEST AFRICA. STORY: She stays with her grandfather, as her biological parents were killed in the Eleven year civil rebel war in Sierra Leone. Her grandfather is 60 years old and cannot afford to send her to school, so every day she idles in the community from place to place, seeking to learn. We are raising money for her tuition.
